After Christmas

Well, the wrapping paper has been lain to rest and the after effects of Christmas are starting to hit us. It's back to work for most of us. Today was a pretty busy day in the clinic. We used our X-ray machine for the first time on a great patient, Summit the Newfie. It was very exciting for Simon and Jodi to play with their new toy. In the meantime, Peter and Robben are teaching me how to use quickbooks (I guess my tax-guy will be really happy about that). Rick spent all day staining wood for the clinic. Eleanor and Ruth were baking liebkuchen and scalloped potatoes. And Zak was doing odd jobs around the house and working on the barn. Meanwhile, Laynie is just lazing around, playing with her toys, and stealing as much attention from everyone as possible. The wainscoting is being put up in the clinic and everything is looking better. I can't wait to be able to take pictures of a finished clinic to show everyone. We're getting there little by little. Soon, it will all seem like a bad dream. On the funnier side, Peter and Libby went to get Peter a tattoo today. (Libby got one last week of a goat on her ankle) Unfortunately, they were too busy to give him a tattoo. So, tomorrow they are going to try again. I'm including a few pictures from Christmas. I'll try to take a picture of the tattoos tomorrow so everyone can see how wild and crazy my in-laws are. Hope everyone had a great day!
